Urban Cedar pride ourselves on delivering a smooth and professional installation experience using a fleet of modern VW vans and the latest specialised hot tub moving equipment.
When placing the order the team will confirm a delivery and installation date with you. If you are not ready for delivery we will hold your hot tub free of charge in our warehouse.
The team will also check the access to deliver the hot tub safely into your garden with the information you provide to our team.
Standard Delivery
This is included within the purchase price and is for installations within 50m of the unloading point along a flat, level route using a specialised hot tub trolly to the hot tubs final location.
An electrical guide will be emailed to you before installation. With this, you will need to contact an electrician and have a rotary isolation switch fitted if you have chosen a 3Kw Heater (or 2Kw Heater if not Plug & Play option). The electrician will be required on the day of delivery too, to make the final connection to the hot tub and once tested issue you with an electrical safety certificate.
If you have chosen a 2Kw Heater Plug & Play, you will just require a 13amp socket within 5 metres of the Hot Tub and no electrician will be required on the day.
Non-Standard Delivery
Deliveries with limited or difficult access such as steps, narrow pathways or obstacles such as walls or fences are classed as non-standard and may require extra man-power or special equipment and are subject to a non-standard installation fee of £195.
If you would like to check the access for the property please contact our team who will be able to assist you. Over 90% of deliveries are classed as standard and we work closely with the client to minimise any additional costs.
Crane Deliveries
In situations where access is limited, we will look at other options of getting the Hot Tub into the garden / space and this can vary from using a Hiab or crane at additional cost. Please contact a member of our team who can assist you with a crane quote.
Additional Information
Three weeks prior to delivery we will email you a short Q&A to complete and also to confirm timings. Our team will double check all the information to ensure the delivery goes smoothly on the day,
On the day of delivery, the team will arrive during a 1-hour time slot and will remain on site for 2-3 hours. Once they arrive on site, they will move the Hot Tub into place using a special trolley system that allows for easy moving. Once the Hot Tub is in place, they will discuss the positioning with you and liaise with the electrician (if applicable).
The team will then begin filling the hot tub with water. Once the hot tub is full they will test the hot tub before giving you a full demonstration of how to operate the controls and run through the simple maintenance which takes no more than 10-15 minutes once or twice a week depending on usage. They will then answer any other questions the client may have before leaving the client with an Urban Cedar presentation folder which will include the order paperwork and hot tub manual.
